On this project we worked with teachers and students throughout Denbighshire to produce a video aimed at 11-14 year olds, to increase awareness of road safety.
We recommended a peer-led video where the essential information is delivered by students of a similar age. We took part in workshops with classes of students, ‘cast’ our presenters, worked around school timetables and met the logistical challenge of filming on the move.
The result was a ‘road movie’ where three young people journey across Denbighshire. Along the way, they meet and interview paramedics and parents of road accident victims.

A questionnaire at the end ensures that students have understood the key information. We also created a bi-lingual version, and both videos are shown in all comprehensive schools across Denbighshire.
“Thanks for giving the kids such a fantastic experience they enjoyed every moment.”
